The Biannual Conference of the Weaving Group
6th October 2016
Cedar Court Hotel, Huddersfield, HD3 3RH

"In the two intervening years since our last conference, the British Weaving Industry has continued to flourish with ever increasing demand for cloth made in Britain.
Investment in buildings, machinery & training have continued apace.
The Weaving Group has again assembled a number of top speakers to address and discuss with you challenges and opportunities in the industry and also to emphasis this continuing move back to British manufacturing. In addition to speakers from the main machinery manufacturers, the programme includes a paper to celebrate a company’s 200th anniversary, one from the first new cotton spinning plant in the UK for generations, a speaker Lloyds Bank which may help shed some light on the effects of Brexit and others covering a wide variety of success stories in UK textile manufacturing.
Together with my fellow committee members, I look forward to welcoming your participation in this event"
